Workshop Description

Autumn Pottery Class This is rolling class throughout Autumn, Winter and Spring. Each Term is 10 weeks long with 1 week break in the middle. You can join in 5 week or 10 week chunks. Autumn Term Dates: The first half is Tuesday Evenings, 6.30pm - 9pm. 24th September - 22nd October —— Half term —— Second half is Tuesday Evenings 6.30pm- 9pm. 5th of November - 3rd December This pottery class is designed to be flexible and driven by your interests, allowing you to explore and develop your skills at your own pace. Ideal for those who have already dipped their toes in pottery and are ready to explore new techniques and ideas in a more self-directed environment. We'll start by discussing your goals and what you'd like to focus on—whether it's improving your throwing skills, tackling larger projects, or experimenting with new hand-building techniques. The instructor will provide demonstrations and offer guidance, but you'll have the freedom to bring your creative ideas to life. This is your time to experiment, play with materials, and realize your own projects with the support of an experienced instructor. A flexible, self-directed learning environment where you can pursue your own pottery interests. A small class size, limited to 6 participants, ensuring plenty of individual attention and support. Access to all necessary tools and materials, though you're welcome to bring your own. Clay and firings included, with additional costs for extra clay or large-scale projects. Bring your own apron and a towel. This class is held in a shared studio space, so please be mindful of other potters. Suitable for adults 18+ who are looking to expand their pottery skills in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. We can have up to 6 people in this class, with a mixture of hand building and wheel throwing. Please be aware there are 4 wheels, if your preference is to only throw, get in contact, as you may be more suited to the throwing class on Wednesdays. Please note this is in a shared studio so please remain mindful of other potters working. :)
